There is nothing required to this world, just application of what you have learned to the real life situations, just see out past prime minister who was highly educated and our current prime minister. For some it comes with genes, some through life experiences but it can be learned and taught in class rooms. So make education fun and application oriented, for example see the fun of coding and its application@ code.org and learning @khanacademy.org which can be used at poor faculty schools.

Nothing to do more special, Reduce the load of books, stop memory based knowledge building. Students should learn every concept practically in class, without books, they should able to do put their ideas, free to experiments. This will generate tremendous confidence in them. These will lead to do new things by their own. Just like in industry they will do by their own. Even they will not get job, they will think to make something and sell them. This will come from on-hand practice only.

There is one beauty of current education system: Uniformity from class 1 to degree. Doesn't matter at what level you leave study, you are totally blank to build up your life based upon the books you have taught.

Some of us have very good memorizing skills, they beat everyone and get government jobs where they utilized their memorizing skills in different way (corruption).

Like in the field of Charted Accountant Government of India must plan to give admission in any engineering colleges (Private or Government) according to the availability of jobs in various industries. This will be only possible when Goverment of India (MHRD dept.) and government companies and private sector companies work together for the betterment of the Indian society.

From 1st standard to 12 standard we study repeatative subject like History, govt can think of changing the curriculum of graduation by including vocational subjects instead of subjects like history. In India we have IIT-Engineering, IIM-MBA, ICAI-accounts etc but we don't have any institute to teach the major subject of agriculture. Govt should start course on Agriculture particularly for those students who fail their 10th Exams & the course should teach about how to carry out farming

i suggest instead asking students about their interest they should be exposed to various Industrial venues from 8th Std onwards which will give insight to students to synergize their interest; The exposure should be from core industries at small cost; 2) The companies get involved in these programs should be given concessions on Taxation.3) As well Schools should give REAL training from companies where students can be recruited by companies if they find good skills; This resolves skilled labours
