My Ideas for Clean India:: Introduce dust bins in Trains and Buses. For every 8 berths/seats one dust bin. May be this idea helpful for clean India... Public Toilets :: Especially in cities and crowd areas ,For every 1/2 km -4 public toilets.. For this project: For maintenance of these toilets. Display advertisements of companies and charge for every add.

An year or so back, I regd complaint with MCD when my G.Floor neighbour was putting up extended structure just below my balcony creating cleaning/security problems. MCD reported that no such constrn was seen. The constrn. is there even now for anyone can see. Now another complaint with MCD reg dog menace. Replied fast - only operated dogs were found. 3-4 new born puppies are also there, may be born to operated dogs. How great our rulers are. All problems are resolved effortlessly.

I regd. a complaint GRV/WSZ/2015/046102 with SDMC re. dog menace. Corpn. resolved the complaints very fast reporting that only operated dogs were found. There are 4-5 puppies also. However swacch bharat abhiyan is going to be great success as operated dogs will not bite, they will not discharge any stool, more pillas will come from operated dogs, no need to take rabies vaccine, sub kushal mangal. My 1st suggestion in this mission. Give media publicity with human size photos of our rulers.

We are not a clean nation. Why? Govt authorities help create such conditions. In my neighbourhood there are two bus stands at two different places. Public toilets are also available at the stands. Adjacent to the toilets two open air eateries are doing brisk business. No need to explain the condition of the toilets. Every fitings/fixtures are broken and the foul smell travels long distance - so locating the toilets are easy. Who is responsible for this state of affairs ?

Introduce one graded subject -shramdaan- in high school. This will be a project based course where kids should do sustainable community service. Cleanliness related projects e.g. building a toilet, can be one such set of service. This will create spirit of service early among kids, use their strength to create cleanliness infra and also raise awareness

Ask children to write essays about how they practised cleanliness in the last vacation they took or in the next vacation they will take. Compile interesting ideas from all kids and make them prepare a pamphlet of these ideas and present to their parents. This will ensure that kids pressurise their parents to follow good practices in their next train or road trip

Please introduce community cleaning as part of both NCC and NSS. These forums can be used to engage children in cleaning local areas, developing preventive solutions e.g. building good quality dustbins etc and also in raising awareness. It will also make them more conscious about cleanliness
