After cleaning, proper waste management is also required. Waste management need to be made productive by recycling. The optimum use of waste before pollution free disposal need to be planned and implemented. Proper infrastructure development needed at village level for smooth transfer of waste from origin till disposal point.

we can put as many chapters as we want but i guess it won't be beneficial because of our school system of mugging and passing, i don't want to sound negative but yea we can make practicals for it, haath saf karenge advertisement is laudable, and such cleanliness activities need to be inculcate into their day to day life.

What students learn in their beginning years of life has a lot impact in future. For this instilling in students that cleanliness is important can help in Swachh Bharat campaign. There can be fine(although minimal, for students that also matter a lot) on littering school grounds. Assign responsibilities to classes to keep the ground clean, For example they can watch students during lunch time or have some awareness campaigns.

In "swachh Bharat abhiyan " , we must take into consideration utilizing modern method and equipment to be deployed. For example hand held blowers, with this one man can collect all blow-able waste -leaves paper wrappers from very large area such as parks company premises etc. Similarly truck mounted vacuum cleaners for road cleaning. More and more garbage treatment plants should be promoted by Government . Indian industries are quite capable of manufacturing required machinery.

Present school curriculum demands only Mugging (without Understanding) for getting marks in exam in schools. This type of curriculum is not helpful for student in longer run. Examples of student Mugging the subject & student understanding the subject is given in movie Three Idiot. (Swyamsevak)

Before the Commonwealth Games, I had suggested to CM, Delhi that the whole Delhi be divided into few sectors with a Sector Officer like we have at the time of elections, directly responsible for cleanliness in his area. Delhi Police also need to play a serious role with the help of Mobile vans No.100 normally standing idle on the road sides and without any specific responsibility. Regret to mention nobody listens.

Regarding waste management you had shown serious concern in your Varansi speech and I feel that Delhi need to be a Model for rest of country. In this connection, I want to bring to your kind attention that Municipal Corporation, Delhi is totally insensitive to this problem. The whole Delhi is full of waste material lying in most of the areas unattended and giving a dirty look to the city. I do not find anybody giving a serious attention to this problem.
