led works on very low dc voltage. so let us not build led bulbs which work on 230 v ac. instead let us go for 12 volt led bulbs which can work from a battery . which can be charged by a solar panel. without the inverter. just a charge controller will do. in brief avoid unnecessary inverter and design led bulb that works on 12 volt dc

Me and my friend were developing a low cost automatic light triggering system for houses. Which reduces the power consumption even more. Any such other ideas and projects should be encouraged. There are lot of people in our country just using their brains to just repair tvs and radios. Do somthing to get them working a bit for our nation. I am sure some of them can do wonderful things if we encourage them.

Sir,i have very simple idea,firstly we can approach local electrician and give them demo about LED (including various variants)&importance of saving energy,so that whenever people call electrician he's duty to convene to have LED light in there homes,shops and offices I hope this method will work as people will follow electrician rather than any company executives bcoz in case of medical we prefer DOCTOR rather than chemist as we trust on professional

Street lights are those works through out the night. Lot of power can be saved just by using leds insted of other types of light bulbs.

I as President of RWA is replacing bulbs and tubes with LED bulbs in stairs and general lightings

1.one imp. thing is that, just kill the competition with regular bulb in term of price. At the starting govt. should provide subsidy for LED bulbs so that consumption increase, as this happen, price will fall & market for LED will take care for it. 2.Government should give directive to all dept that where ever possible all regular light should change with LED, specially in govt. offices, railway station, all corporate offices, industries and in all street and highways.

(example online, Post Office) 3. Also Distribute LED Bulbs through State EB Office. 4. Sale various watts of Bulbs and easy availability.
