When I eat food in a hotel, they gave a bill charging CGST and SGST, it may be possible that they delete the transaction in their computer and keep that CGST and SGST amount with them, it will result a loss to the govt. and nation. I suggest that every CGST and SGST bill sud have a id no. in it and we can check whether that bill is filed in GST portal or not.

WE ARE IN SEZ AND SOME OF THE SUPPLIERS ARE MAKING INVOICE WITH IGST AND THE SUBJECT GOODS ARE EXPORTED. PRESENTLY THERE IS NO PROVISION FOR CLAINING REFUND OF IGST PAID ON THE INPUT SO PURCHASED ON PAYMENT OF IGST. THE SUPPLIER ALSO COULD NOT DO THAT. THE LAW MAY BE AMENDED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT THE SEZ UNIT MAY BE PERMITTED TO FILE REFUND APPLICATION INSTEAD OF THE SELLER AS THERE COULD BE CHANCES OF THE SUPPLIER NOT REFUNDING

e-way bill for inadvertent omission/ errors - goods should not be detained. The penalty be paid along along with the payment of tax/ returns. This will help the business as the goods are not released for at least three days (as the same officer to release) This is burden on genuine tax payers for inadvertent errors/omissions

As per my opinion 1. Abolish the Reverse Charge Mechanism because there is only working of tax calculation payment and again claim ITC hence no revenue to Govt. 2. Revised return facility for all returns particularly for GSTR 3B. 3. Simple template for uploading sales and purchase at a time as like VAT Act Returns. 4. Time for filling of Monthly returns in GSTR 1 minimum 30days.
