Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

Smart city means security, maintenance, proper arrangement, traffic rules. The more it develops the better it is.

It is better to convert all diesel engine autorickshaws to run on alternate fuel like LPG

1. Public transport should be provided and or should be maintained properly 2. Green corridor signals should be implemented 3. Traffic system should be implemented effectively 4. 1.Wifi facility through out city limit.. 2.changing all city limit roads to one way...Example :Brookfields road, Railway station road, 100 feet road.

1. Convert all buses in to Hybrid Eco friendly to control the pollution 2. Provide ring roads to connect near by cities 3. Bride new railway tracks to connect more cities 4. Shift all the foundries form city to rural 5. Connect the cities with new bridges
