Bilaspur Smart City Talk

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Urban Development for smart city challenge, the third Stakeholder/Citizen consultation meeting is being organized by Bilaspur Municipal Corporation on 1/11/2015. The meeting will start at 4:00pm at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, Dikshit Sabha Bhavan.

Discussion on the options of Pan city and Area Development projects will be carried out during the talk show.

The meeting will be headed by Member of Parliament (C.G.) Mr. Lakhan Lal Sahu, in the presence of Mayor Bilaspur Mr. Kishor Rai, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ranu Sahu. Members of Laghu Udyog Sangh, Merchant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Lions Club will also be present in the talk show.

As the city stands for its rich historical and cultural heritage efforts should be made in order to develop these places and thus attaract international tourists . The roads here are in terrible condition. Sanitation has very little place in the city. In spite of this, waste management, cleanliness, traffic should be held high during the smart city campaign. We all look forward for a cleaner greener bilaspur . And of course a smarter one !!

I think for any smart city energy is a big concern.Since now a lot of new buildings would come up, I feel most of those buildings should have solar panels installed to make the city energy sufficient or maybe even surplus.Moreover Led bulbs could be used.

1) There should be maximum numbers of gardens for the all 2) All roads should provided with good landscape and plantation on dividers 3) public transport should be proper and efficient by proper management of service.

4)Maximum use of solar energy for street lights, signals and all other applications 5) There should be a app of city where all of us can complaint about our problem and app will be directly connected with respective authority
