The reason behind lack of teaching standard is though NCTE has been made academic authority as per Section 23, part 1 of the RTE Act 2009 for fixing the qualifications of school teachers & still many states are not following the mandatory norms. As per Section 23 part 3, salary and service conditions of teachers should be as prescribed and as per Model RTE Rules it is clearly mentioned that salary, allowances & service conditions of teachers should be same as of other teachers of State. But??

1.The Selection process of teachers should be refined and made more stringent 2.The selection process, should give equal opportunity to candidates from wide variety of fields.e.g-Those students who had earlier chosen engineering/medical/other field and have special skill/interest in particular subject and now wants to teach science/maths etc, in schools, should also be given equal opportunity to try their skill in the recruitment process.Age limit will also have to be increased in such case.

The teachers in Chhattisgarh k/s shikshakarmi are not even paid regular salaries which is one other cause of the deteriorating standard of education in the state as it puts stress on them to maintain their living.

Teachers should not be engaged in duties like population census, election and maintaining of school ledgers for which they have to leave periods from their schedules which puts a lot of pressure on them to complete their cousre overlooking the learning capabilities of the students.themanagement staff in govt schools are assigned minimum work.they jst have to make paybills or file tax returns n rest of the work is assigned to teachers.this is the situation of the teachers in Chhattisgarh.

first teachers should think that all students are equal and all are like his/her own children. They should not create mental pressure to students. They should boost moral of students. They are creator of future citizens.

1) All research organization scientists should spend atleast 15 days in a year to teach in their home town schools. For that they could be provided 15 days home town leave and they must teach every day including Sunday and develop the thinking aptitude and inovation in children. They should submit a report of their findings which can used for future. 2) We should give more focus in age group of 6-12 where we can generate more interest and find their talent which can be used for country growth.
