At present if central gov employees are transferred to new state which is quite frequent they have to register their vehicle again in that state. The procedure is quite cumbersome and employee ends up paying full tax again. Same should be made simpler. The rule should be so that only registration fee should be required to be submitted and the state where employee wants to register should claim the tax from state where earlier vehicle was registered. Onus for collecting the tax should be on state from the state where vehicle was earlier registered. Otherwise India being one nation there should be no need to re register the vehicle in another state. Otherwise vehicle owned by central gov employees or their dependent should be exempted from re registration. This is quite simple task but will make the life of citizens in India quite simple which is the motto of government.
