I am writing solution to address the problem of waste being dumped into rivers. Separate collection for religious waste In many Hindu households, people use idols, flowers, garlands, cloth, and other items for worship. When idols break or become old, many people leave them near trees or in nearby water bodies because they feel it is disrespectful to throw them in the dustbin. The government can instruct municipal corporations to work with temples and create separate collection bins. One bin can be for flowers and garlands, and another for idols, cloth, and chunni. This waste can then be recycled properly. Flowers can easily be converted into compost. After implementing this system in cities for about two years, a strict ban can be introduced on throwing such waste into rivers, lakes, or other water bodies. Public awareness can also be increased through TV advertisements and well-known online creators.

Respected Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally propose a strategic shift in India’s domestic energy policy: transitioning from Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to Electric Induction-based Cooking. Given the recurring challenges in the LPG supply chain and the volatility of international gas prices, a pivot toward electricity—increasingly powered by our domestic renewable grid—is both a logistical and economic necessity. To facilitate this transition without placing a financial burden on the common citizen, I suggest the following policy framework: • Expansion of the Free Electricity Slab: To offset the increased load of electric cooking, it is proposed that the government increase the free electricity threshold from the current 200 units to a minimum of 400 units for households that adopt induction cooking. • Direct Hardware Subsidies: Launch a "National Induction Mission"

The Surya Nutan Solar Cooktop developed by Indian Oil Corporation can help India reduce LPG imports. India imports about 60% of its LPG, which requires large foreign exchange (forex). If crores of families use solar cooking for even one meal per day, LPG consumption will reduce significantly. This can save billions of dollars in LPG imports and also reduce government subsidy under schemes like Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana launched by Narendra Modi.
