Narendra Modi Ji, Feb 28, 2023 is observed as National Science Day in India and so I want to contribute for Feb2023 Man Ki Baath a small but significant development happening in a small Town Sagar in Shivamogga District of Karnataka State. Sagar Science Forum (SSF) is an NGO Trust started by a retired mathematics professor H.L.S. Rao, now 84 years old and has been operating for the last 13 years. SSF has been conducting science workshops for students, teacher training workshops, model building activities, seminars and interaction with reputed scientists to enhance scientific temperament in Government School children in the rural area of Malnad region. The actitivies done are being recognised and encouraged by Barata Ranta C.N.R. Rao foundation. SSF is now building 'Sagar Science Centre' to act as a hub for all such activities that will benefit over 300 schools and 15000 children in the region, expected to be ready in 1 year. We welcome all the help towards this.
