This task seeks the views of the participant on basic yet crucial aspects related to skill development. The relevant information and insights received from this task can be sent to the concerned industries, help in ITI and other relevant curricula and can be utilized in various reports being prepared by the concerned departments.

Collaboration between Engineering colleges and industries is required. Have to provide platform to students in industry in last year of graduation so that they can understand the need of industries and industries can understand flow/thinking level and potential of students in different related departments. This all activities must not remain on piece of paper, but actual implementation is highly required.

The quandary of our higher technical education system since independence .The Academician failed to deliver the required product &Industrialist failed to accept the given product, later has more valid reasons to say NO to the given product i.e ENGINEER/Technician .Because of prerequisite talent is not available & the knowledge is insufficient because of vastness of the engineering subject in theory& Practical The industry cannot afford to absorb such engineers.But WE are DELIVERING free of cost

We call it the Delivery System in Higher Technical Education .D Module is formulated, Integrated, Implemented, Tested & evaluated. We found it result oriented, guided efforts have reaped desired crop in terms of quality of education, skill development, industry compatible education, talented engineers, job oriented . We achieved all by implementing our module on select Eng. colleges’ success was total since 2001. We invite AICTE to take special initiatives and we shall be happy to demonstrate.

This task to be directed to d HRD ministry, to Policy makers of Higher Tech. Educ., strategic thinkers. When it come for action the policy maker, who actually don’t want to do anything. or sight many reasons to ignore , vested interest or state of helplessness of the directors, who has already lost Hopes. Being so near to success. India could be education HUB in 2008. But if India miss d the Bus now then the opportunity is lost forever. So act for d Hopes of Youth.We assure multifaceted success.

5. Additionally, the mainstream education system to be revamped with focus on creating employable work force. 6. Curricula to cater to industry needs. 7. Granting autonomy in academic issues to the universities. 8. Encouraging and incentivising research and development in order to create a knowledge society.

1. Categorise various sectors of industry in terms of skill requirements. 2. Set up skill development centres for the identified skills. 3. Form a co-ordinating body of all the skill development centres catering to a particular skill. Industry leaders relating to that skill to be a part of the body. 4. This body to be given autonomy in deciding all the academic issues like course design, examination pattern etc.
