The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.

We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.

Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014.  The winning entry will be awarded a  cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

cleanliness starts at any age... the adults can learn to maintain cleanliness to along with children. thus the logo represents two different ages together and thus the progressive India.
