All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded as:

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

How to Submit

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

Tirupati is famous pilligrim places.The tirupati is required clean area and look at very bueatyfull, so our tirupati is make it clean city so they do resticted wast management

our Tirupati was very affected by improper roads..and vehicles was going to repair shop 2 times in a month..so please maintain roads with proper intension by thinking of people and pedastreains

Higher education imparts advanced knowledge and skills, develops your character and also enhances your self esteem. You would be in a better position to take more informed decisions and bring about a great difference in your life. Essay high education induces a sense of motivation and facilitates better understanding of the purpose of higher education. It should explain the demand for seeking admission in prestigious institutions and the demand to obtain advanced degrees.

HI guys Tirupati was very backward in all catageroies but we are living on behalf of lord venkateswara nobody will help us. Atlast our P.M(sri narendramodi jii was come forward and please help our city..providing necessary facilities

"SMART TIRUPATI-ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION". We have to develop Tirupati.The roads are not good when rain falls.The drainages are also overflowed.The dust on roads is another problem.We should not throw dust on the sides of the roads.Cleanliness is not controlled by government fully,it needs public participation.Doesn't have proper public Toilets.Greenary and water are the beauties of any city.we should maintain pools,parks etc.we should construct bridges and dig the ponds to see tirupati good.

not only the changes in technology but also the change is required in peoples also. we cannot change the mind set uneducated people, try change the mindset of students to bring the change in our society

It is a great privilege to Tirupati as it has been selected for developing in to a smart city along with other 100 places. Tirupati should have a good infrastructure, water facility, better drainage facility, etc. But among these all the foremost thing is it should have a good n clean environment. Many tourists passes our place each and every day so it is very important and it is necessary to keep our place clean. So for that apart from government people also should strive for it.
