All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.
Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic
• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities
Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

Terms and Conditions
1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.
2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.
3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.
The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

Tirupati is popularly known as pilgrimage center. Here we can worship Lord Venkateshwara. We have a good university i.e., Sri Venkateshwara university. We have a good transport facility and the zoological park which is located here is d 2nd largest park in Asia. But it is very bad to know that we dont have a good drainage facility and our place is not clean even though it attracts many tourists it is not hygienic. Garbage must be take out from garbage tanks as early as possible which is imp.

1.First the traffic polices should remove the barriers which they kept yet the near crime police station circle by this a lot of pollution being in tirupati. not only that but also a lot of petrol is wastage for the emerald's college students n for the public also
2.The govt. should start an organization for beggar and they tell to work them then why will they don't work n they will be able to work,able to earn and they will come in a right way.By these there will be no beggar's in Tirupati.

WATER HARVEST
Its happy that Tirupati is one of among 100 smart cities.But major problem which is being ignored is water harvesting.Many roads are being floored but there is no rain water harvest around them which leads to water wastage. Govt can take certain steps which can make water harvest and rain and underground water harvest mandatory this could reduce the loads of water supply chain which will be much more helpful.

Tirupati is facing a major problem is slums. They are increasing day by day. To decrease this problem as much as possible, governament should provide proper funds to the people and provide the basic needs like food, water and shelter. So they will be very happy and there will be no differentiation of rich and poor. Everyone will be equal. . So let us all join together to stop this issue as possible. . .
