All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

How to Submit

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

While giving building plan approvals, individual UDS connection shall be provided duly collecting necessary fees to avoid repeated visits of individual for UDS connection.

All man holes in Tirupati should be covered to avoid untoward incidents during rainy seasons. Hawkers must be provided at designated places at Tirupati Town. Measures should be taken for continuous water supply in Tirupati. Along with Police Safety for Women and Senior Citizens may be planned. e-Toilets should be provided at Important Places for pilgrims. Increased use of renewable energy must be promoted for sustainable environment. Door to door garbage collection may be strengthen.

Tirupati upto now developed only for pilgrims not for all common people to survive.If we want develop tirupati as smart city sustainability for all peoples. That time tirupati defenetly reach best city in india.

Entire Mada streets of Tiruchanoor and Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temples should be made pedestrian friendly. No motor vehicles should be allowed around temples.

Tirupati is a devoted cited, so many pilgrims are coming to tirupati so water is most important. Raining water storage is most important.

TIRUPATI as a SMART CITY: A large vision placed at each of regional work shop invited from Municipal Commissioner, District Collectors, Corporators, Engineers who participated at regional work shop. The question is “What is smart city? “. Smart city means “A clean and green, safe, dynamic, growing, connected city where people are contended in a city”. To make TIRUPATI as smart from present as shown in the picture to be smart.

Provision of community toilets & shelter including up-gradation & construction of new houses Slum improvement and rehabilitation projects Take up the various programmes and special projects conceived by the mission, municipality, or UDA. It is the most effective way to provide shelter to the urban poor at a very large scale and at the lowest cost. The poor can and are willing to pay for improved services and homes.
