The most important skills in my opinion are : 1. Language skills : Hindi and English in addition to one's own mother tongue, preferably another foreign language. 2. Computer and internet skills : Operating, document creation like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, web surfing 3. Communication skills : Effective presentation, toning, voice modulation. 4. Organisation skills : Planning, documentation, report making. 5. Analytical skills : information gathering, data processing, inference building.

Dear Sir, Further to my earlier post, In future 2020 or 2050, We can start building skill sets for 1. Safety Engineering (Product, Process, System Safety) 2. Reliablity Engineering 3. IP management (Intellectual property management) Applies to Transportation, Aerospace , Plants, Oil and Gas, Ports etc.

Training in organic manure production; Training in mushroom cultivation; training in cut flowers business; training in fruit processing and spices; training in mobile repairing; training in waste management; training in ornaments manufacturing; training in bakeries; training in catering and training in doll making, All these can be started with less start up cost and can employ everyone with basic knowledge, target to rural and urban youths which can empower them for sustainable living

In India Construction especially infra and building construction is a real vocation next to agriculture.We require skilled labours/artisan in this sector.Though education is not criteria ,skill is very much important in this field.We must initiate a vocational training in remote areas for the unemployed youths.They will become good masons,bar benders,carpenters,plumbers,bricklayers,painters.welders,supervisors.Building construction as well as infra work will be real profession on tomorrow.

Education 5- Study of Architecture and Environment Co-ordination 6. Promote Agriculture and technology in it this will improve employability as well as our economy

The 10 skills are: 1) Improving Creativity skills (2) Self regulation improvement (3) Promoting entrepreneurial spirit (4) Effective communication skills (5) Emotional Intelligence (6) Collaborating across networks (7) Encouraging imagination (8) Intensive training in facing interviews and group discussions without fear (9) Social, office and mail etiquette (10) Life Survival skills. A good policy can be developed on all the above, and a good syllabus devised and the best faculties to be taken.

1) Soil and Irrigation Consultant (the guy who can guide people on soil problems and irrigation related issues ) 2) Set top box repair and maintenance (Currently we do not have this capability) 3) Credit consultant for farmers (a person who can guide farmer regarding profitability of crops and credit facility available) 4) Weather consultant 5) Urban waste management 6) Health care practitioner 7) Plumber 8) Electrician 9) Design skills 10 ) Construction labour
