This task requires you to invest time with the local community in explaining how they can access digital technology and services for their benefit. E.g., banking services, government services, training programs, use of social media, etc.

Digital disparity is a stark reality in our country. We have to educate our fellow citizens on how to access and use digital technologies and services for their personal benefit and for the greater good of society. This task will require you to impart digital knowledge and to understand what it takes to make digital services usable and useful to the common man.

I guess I am doing this thing for while now. Mostly to my family , extend family and neighborhood. Recently I was sharing room with a MLA in MLA extented hostel Mumbai. Mr.MLA had a Samsung S4 and was not able to install Facebook app on it. I helped him and had made gmail acc n then watsapp. later I gave him idea of using Facebook to stay in touch of this people in his region. I remember that he was shock to see so many people on Facebook. Had him sent some friend requests and next 100+ friends.

1 Govt should appoint digital training representatives all over the country, one person for one village and cities/urban through local community 2. Provide Govt. owned internet centers on the first step till the farmers able to buy desktops/laptops on their own and provide broadband connectivity to all the villages. 3. Govt.digital representative in that village should train the village people about usage of internet for banking services, govt. schemes and also youth regarding social media.

Hi all, I am a student of computer science. Having experience in IT field with MNC. Main thing is that i belong to the village. In my village any student ask to me about any IT issue i help. As well as many senior peoples who want to wish to connect with social sites also get help to me. Because i always remain connected to internet so i also tell the students about gov jobs and popular thing on internet. From your task i got the inspiration, will start a campaign for digital awareness shortly.
