Special education is not necessarily for children with learning disabilities due to a medical reason or being born like that but children who also hail from communities where there is a gender bias or financial constraints to study will need special education to be inclusive according to the need of the child. There is serious work and research which must be put down and I think parents of such children ( such as me ) should be included so that there it can be more effective and successful.

My son was declared as special. I have reared my son coping with the huge demands & stigma of society. My son and I overcame this . A once weak & frail boy on anti-seizure drugs from the age of 5 to 15 who the world called deaf, dumb, stupid is today athletic & strongest of my 3 sons, NOT deaf or dumb. He is 6 ft tall is 20 years old Plays golf, basketball like a pro. creative, animal lover, 2 diplomas in 3D animation, Autodesk digital software. The system lacks. Sports & arts cured my son.

Special Children are differently-abled so can compete with normal people or even better in special areas. Not being able to cope with the present education system, these outstanding individuals are called idiots / stupid/ retards.. What is wrong is the inability of our system to co-habit these exceptional children alongside the ones who society claims as normal to inculcate equal opportunities in society from a young age teaching dignity & acceptance from young than later at the work place,

My brother has suffered a mental desease .He does'nt speak clearly so he is not going school because school teachers do'nt tolerate him.He is now 19 years old.He has done hard work. Hence I would like to say to open schools in every city for those children. In my city there is a school for blind children.
